The china shop ain't open and the cops don't know it but the jail ain't made of stone, it's easy blowin' for the wolf in style with a vinyl smile who comes a' knocking at the door every once in a while.

Are bringing something cold and numb
Acidic and inadvisable
to my lips
So used to hiding
Out in the fiction
Inspired by dreams
Awoken by diction
The greyest sky
Leafless trees and
A heavy fog
To hide my treason
Clandestine destiny
A man who's all the best in me
I hope when I run out of time he'll run away and he'll survive
I made this, my perfect world
To shine like ice
And coldly burn
I'm not in love or the prime of my life
I'm not invincible, but I will survive
By my pride and the time in my eyes
By the grace of the world and the face of a girl
This is more than just a message for you
It's a heart to adorn you and a warning for me
